The story
A long summer day at a mill barn, from bridal prep to the last song.
Ellie and Sam spent a year turning Netherby Mill's barn into the room they'd pictured: drapes, a borrowed chandelier and about four hundred metres of festoon lights. I started with Ellie getting ready at her mum's, stayed through the ceremony, the long lunch and the speeches, and left as the band played the last song. The evening sun came straight through the big barn doors at about half seven, so we slipped out for ten minutes of portraits in it.
