The story

Vows on the headland at six, then down to the beach for the last of the light.

Mia and Jonah wanted no fuss and no audience. We met at the car park at four, walked the coast path to the headland and they read their vows to each other with the wind doing its best to steal the words. Afterwards we went down to the bay at low tide and followed the light until it went. The whole thing took four hours and they had fish and chips on the harbour wall to finish.

A bride and groom on the rocks below a headland, low sun behind them
A couple kissing on a grassy clifftop above a cove
The sun setting between sea stacks, the couple small on the beach
A couple walking hand in hand down a sandy path through the dunes

In their words

We were nervous about being photographed for that long. Ten minutes in we'd forgotten Freya was there.
